Hello fellow fans,
We’re excited to share that Essex has officially released his brand new single, “Eighties,” originally written by British punk legends Killing Joke.
Rather than simply recreating the classic track, Essex brings his own unique energy and perspective to “Eighties,” imagining what it would feel like to step back into that era through a modern lens. The result is a powerful blend of nostalgia, atmosphere, and Essex’s signature sound.
The music video for “Eighties” was directed by legendary filmmaker Vicente Cordero from Industrialism Films, whose impressive body of work includes collaborations with artists such as Ministry, Queensrÿche, and many more.
“Eighties” is now available on all streaming platforms, so be sure to give it a listen and add it to your playlists.
The excitement doesn’t stop there — Essex is currently back in the studio working on more music, with additional releases expected later this year. There’s a lot more to come, and we can’t wait to share what’s next with all of you.
Stay tuned for more updates soon.
